[I haven't posted new material in quite a while. Sorry! Today I'm giving you interviews with a mother and a son who were at my university almost two years ago.]
TQ 047 Ross from Michigan (Replay)
Ross, 14, came to China with his mother, Maria. Maria is teaching a short-term class at my university. They lived next to me for about a week, then moved to a larger apartment. Ross will enter high school (9th grade) in the fall. He likes skiing, running, wrestling . . . and deer hunting! He has an older sister and a younger brother. Like a lot of children and teenagers, he has to do chores, such as mowing the lawn, sweeping the floor and doing his own laundry. Here are some other words that he uses in this podcast episode: coconut, pulp (like the little bit of an orange that is in orange juice), racoon, squirrel, BB gun and gun scope.
