In this post Thanksgiving episode I get to discuss recent success in GA, Nick and I chat about some new gear purchases and then we get into our main topic of discussion and the growing trend of folks posting their successes in the deer woods with a disclaimer that they know it is not the biggest deer but……… The buckshaming and bucksplaining need to take a rest. In this episode I am recording from the road (apologies for any road noise in advance) headed to Michigan for a hunt with good friends. While sitting in the car for 12 hours I had some time to record and ruminate, or “chew my cud” on a few things that have been on my mind the past couple of weeks. Part of the episode is related to seeking advice and wading through some of the bad advice out there and part is based on some advice I have for bow hunters based on a recent successful hunt in the Georgia woods.
