If you had two products side by side and one said sugar free while the other had sugar in it, which one would you choose? Majority of people automatically go for sugar free products because, well, sugar makes you gain weight right? What if the process of making something non-caloric artificially sweetened was worse for your health than eating regular sugar, would that change your mind?
In this episode I will explain the reactions that are caused from eating "sugar free" vs regular sugar, and which one is "best" for you.

What is the route cause of weight gain? It's simply being in a surplus for an extended period of time, whether it's planned/organized or done without knowing. I want you to think of calories as simply energy. If your body is burning a good amount of energy in a day, but still has extra energy that hasn't been used, the body will store that energy (creating fat).
A lot of people do abuse the carbohydrate macro which then leads to making people believe that carbs are the issue. Carbs are found in many more products at a higher volume than the other two macros (proteins & fats). Eating to much of anything can cause weight gain, but understanding what YOUR body needs and how it all works together for health & progress will create your success.

Or because someone is doing something that works for them, we wanna jump on that wagon with them. Then when it comes time to work, this stuff is just "to hard".
In today's episode I will share the truth about fitness and how you need to open your eyes!

If it took 5 years to put on 80lbs, would 80lbs come off in 2 weeks? Media always tries to teach weight loss as this simple thing that everyone can follow when in reality it's wrong. It sets us up for failure either now or in the future. Don't get me wrong, weight loss is simple and understand nutrition is simple. It's like that saying, "give a man a fish, feed him for the night, teach the man to fish and feed him for life". Once you learn what a carb, fat, and protein is, you will truly understand what your body needs vs wants, and how to eat for health, performance, progress, ect. You would finally be in control.

What's the difference between eating "clean" and eating "bad"? How would you define each and would you know which one does best for body vs the other? Nutrition has gone far away from what it truly is, "fuel, energy, and medicine". Nutrition is not all about dropping weight, droping body fat, and building muscle. How do we eat for health? How do eat to stay as healthy as possible to watch our kids grow up?
In this episode I will truly break down and share how eating bad and eating clean actually make no sense at all!

The average person has about 1 - 3 injuries that effect them daily. Maybe 1 out of every 3 people know why there is an injury, how to fix it, and then how to strengthen/prevent it from happening again. A lot of athletes or average people, will not know where their imbalances are and will begin to train with insane resistance which then leads to injury. This injury would be blamed on training when in reality, the imbalances were already their but you didn't notice them.
Today we have an incredible guest speaker, Meghan Barrington, coming to the show to explain to us all "how to move the body in the most effective way" to prevent injury, improve performance, and improve your knowledge on your own body!

People always start their journey with a crazy goal, "I want to lose 100lbs, I want to compete in bodybuilding". These goals are great, but you will fail and quit if small milestone realistic goals aren't set in stone. That huge goal is your super bowl, but you still have practices, games, and playoffs to get through first before you get their.
By creating small milestone goals, you will create friction, you will create momentum that will make you unstoppable in your path to success.

The human body relies on nutrition for life. Nutrition is one of the most mind controlling aspects of life. Nutrition is the most powerful tool to improve your body, mind, and health. With nutrition being so important, why is it the most least understood thing about our health?
When you think about weight loss, competing, dropping body, being an athlete, 99% of the time you immediately think about the "diet". Dieting is the WRONG way to think about how you should FUEL your body, mind, and health. There is more to it on a psychological level then there is on a physical level. Today's amazing guest speaker, Ainsley Perish (Princessspump), a 2nd time returning guest speaker, is bringing a whole new aspect to diet culture that you must pay attention to.
