Romans 8 is a great summary of this process; Jesus became like us, so we can become like Him. When we unpack Romans 8:30, we discover: Awaken - God calls us by name. Deepen - God sets us on a solid basis with Himself until we are established. Fulfill - God stays with us to the end, gloriously completing what He has begun. Forgiveness takes us thru the gate unlocked by Jesus. He then invites us to the road of Restoration where Transformation takes place.
