Prior to this, she worked for 11 years at Indiana Wesleyan University in various positions and ended up as a Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives.Deann is very active in her church, where for the past 14 years she has been a worship leader. Becky was also an adjunct professor at the University of Indianapolis and an education consultant at Greenwood Christian Academy. Amanda's grandmother was her only consistent Christian influence growing up; however, she didn't come to faith until she was 25. Justin's family required him to attend church when he was younger, but he didn't make his faith his own until later in life. After coming to faith through different routes, Justin and Amanda also found one another through their mutual affinity for coaching young men and women in football and basketball. Amanda graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Secondary Math Education, and she later earned a master's degree in Secondary Education. She later earned her BA in English and Spanish from King University in 2011. Since then, she worked as a Children’s Book Editor at Eerdmans Books for Young Readers in 2011 and taught Upper School English at Orangewood Christian School in Orlando, FL from 2013-2018.
