From 1995 to 2005, he worked as a minister in churches in Illinois and Georgia.Dr. Overdorf graduated from Johnson University in 1995. November 11, 2024Showing Up and Making Christ Known: Jason Van Curen, Principal of Indy West Christian School in Indianapolis, INJason Van Curen earned his undergraduate and master's degrees in ministry from Kentucky Christian University. Along the way, he also earned master's degrees in family counseling and K-8 education. Seventeen years ago, he and his wife, Tisha, moved from Michigan to Avon, IN, to enroll our children in Kingsway Christian School. Jason became the school counselor, while Tisha worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist and is entering her 28th year in the field. Both their children attended Kingsway and Covenant. Callie graduated in 2020 and has a degree in communication and marketing from Grand Canyon University. She lives in Phoenix with her husband, Ben. Calen graduated from Covenant in 2024 and isvstudying neuroscience with a minor in biochemistry at the University of Alabama. Throughout his time at Kingsway, he transitioned from counselor to dean of students, then to director of student life, and now principal. He also coached various sports and served as a bus driver. He has been involved in Christian education ever since his junior year of college. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Dr. Walker pursued graduate school and obtained a Master of Education in Student Affairs from Regent University. Currently, he is completing a second Masters degree in School Leadership from Baylor University.In 2018, Dr. Walker began serving as a Vice President of a Christian College in Kansas while working towards his Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership. Unexpectedly, in 2021, he was appointed as the head of Central Christian School of Hutchinson, Kansas. Under his leadership, the school has undergone significant improvements.
