The U.S. House of Representatives may have passed a $1.5 trillion infrastructure bill, but it will never become law, says Missouri Republican Senator Sam Graves, ranking member of the chamber’s Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Graves says the measure’s primary focus on massive overhauls of nontransportation regulations hampers its chances of advancing in the Republican-led Senate. Graves also expressed disappointment over the lack of Republican input in the bill.
