Comcar Industries is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plans to sell its four trucking companies as part of the legal process. Flatbed company C-T Transportation will be sold to P-S Logistics of Birmingham, Alabama. Liquid bulk carrier C-T-L Transport is being sold to Service Transport of Houston. Refrigerated and dry van carrier M-C-T Transportation will be sold to White Willow Holdings, a New Hampshire-based private equity company. And finally, Comcar announced it has entered into a letter of intent to sell bulk carrier C-C-C Transportation to an undisclosed buyer. Comcar says it intends to keep operating during the bankruptcy proceedings.
