    We were also joined by the awesome, awesome, awesome Grace Sharkey who shared about the growth of her Sirius XM radio show that airs Monday through Friday with FreightWaves and how her kickoff show had so much pressure as it was done live at the Mid America Truck Show back in March of 2022. Her rich experiences in domestic truckload also allowed her to share some meaningful advice to new entrants and what they should focus on now that their motor carrier authority has been activated. Desi Wade added the nice acronym of M.A.P. to help summarize what new entrants need to focus on which stands for mentorship/mental preparation; analysis (SWOT); planning.

    We talk about how to acquire commercial equipment when starting your company and when scaling your company. Saint Thaxton adds his experience with getting trucks on www.truckpaper.com and why he had to pivot away from renting from Enterprise.
