Welcome to Day 17 of the Returning Daughter 40-Day Fast. Today we meditate on Ephesians 1:3-5 and the beautiful truth that before the beginning of time, God chose us to be adopted in love. He had a plan for us to belong to Him, to be fully received as His daughters, and to live from a place of security in His presence.
In this devotion, we reflect together on what it means to be fully accepted by God and to let go of feelings of rejection, fear, or unworthiness. We are reminded that adoption is the ultimate act of love and that through Jesus, we have been brought into God’s family, given His inheritance, and sealed by His Spirit.
In this devotion, we reflect on:
How God’s plan for us has always been rooted in love
Why adoption in Christ means full belonging and inheritance
How we can walk in confidence as daughters of God
Reflection Question:
How can we rest more deeply in the truth that God has adopted us in love and calls us His own?

In this devotion, we are reminded that God’s hand has always been on our lives. Even in seasons of pain, rejection, or loss, His grace has been present, leading us back to His heart. We are not forgotten or overlooked. We are chosen, redeemed, and loved with purpose.
In this devotion, we reflect on:
How God’s hand has always been at work in our stories
Why being chosen means being set apart for His glory
How His light restores our confidence and belonging
Reflection Question:

Welcome to Day 15 of the Returning Daughter 40-Day Fast. Today we meditate on Mark 5:21–34 and the story of the woman with the issue of blood, a daughter who reached out in faith and was healed.
As we sit with this passage, we are reminded that Jesus meets us in the middle of our pain, not after it. We can bring every hidden wound, fear, or unanswered prayer to Him, knowing that His touch still restores and His word still heals.
In this devotion, we reflect together on the holy courage it takes to reach for Jesus when life feels heavy. We remember that He calls us “daughter,” restores our peace, and reminds us that faith still moves Him today.
In this devotion, we reflect on:
How Jesus meets us personally in our suffering
Why faith becomes an act of holy courage in hard seasons
How His healing presence brings peace and restoration
Reflection Question:
What area of our hearts do we need to bring before Jesus in faith and trust Him to heal?

In this devotion, we reflect on:
How God’s joy and delight reveal His heart toward His daughters
Why we can rest in His love instead of striving for approval
How understanding God’s delight transforms our healing and identity

Welcome to Day 12 of the Returning Daughter 40-Day Fast. Today, we meditate on John 3:16–17 and the truth that God’s love is personal, powerful, and unconditional. His love doesn’t condemn—it saves, restores, and redeems.
In this heartfelt devotion, Toni Simmons-Husband shares a message about surrendering comfort for closeness, breaking free from performance-based faith, and learning to rest in the love that was already secured for you on the cross. You’ll be encouraged to stop striving, release the guilt of “doing enough,” and let the Holy Spirit show you what it means to simply be loved.
In this devotion, we reflect on:
How God’s love pursues us even when we feel unworthy
Why His love is covenantal and unchanging
How believing “God loves me” transforms our healing and intimacy with Him
Reflection Question:
How can I receive God’s love today more personally instead of only believing it generally?
