  • Vinyl Soul Searching Vol. 44

We're not done folks.. Got the fancy new record player and it's a domino effect now. Now I'm in the market for secondary speakers, I will not stop until the neighbors write letters to the county stating that my vinyl speakers cracked the windshield on their work truck. It fires me up to hear certain songs and albums this way for the first time. How about my Kanye luck. Talked about Kanye briefly in both previous episodes and now he's on Alex Jones talking about Hitler's redeeming qualities. Incredible. As always, thank you for being here. This podcast is brought to you by Coffee Stain Clothing. New merch dropping this week, stay tuned..

Jumping from genre to genre in this episode testing out the fancy new record player thanks to Black Friday. Donda, the newest addition to the collection didn't disappoint. Jay Electronica can hang in there with anybody and Kanye's vocals on Moon were crazy through the speakers. Listening back doesn't really do it justice yet, I'll try to improve the recording quality between now and next time. Thanks as always for being here. See y'all next time

Doing two Thanksgivings this week, so pushed this back for a couple days. I love recording these, gives me a reason to sit down and dive into my music. I encourage anybody to start a vinyl collection. Some of these in particular sound so much better even out of my cheap record player. As always, I just wish that one person out there enjoyed this, maybe even heard a new song. Places like this is where I first heard No Quarter by Led Zeppelin and my mind was completely blown away. Like how could something like this exist and it took me 25 years to stumble onto it? Trying to usher these jams out to the good people of the cool corner of the internet. Thanks for being here, new shirts dropping this week. Follow coffeestainclothing on IG for drops. See y'all soon

  • Vinyl Soul Searching Vol. 41 (Pink Floyd Special)

Breaking away from the normalcy of VSS, I give to you a curation of my favorite jams by Pink Floyd. Wisdom, mastery and more game than an arcade pouring out of these tunes. 45-50 year old jams still relevant to this day. This episode probably isn't for everybody.. Just like I couldn't sit there and take an ear beating from some other poor schmuck's playlist. I get it. Might be rough, but please give these a chance. A few of these songs have helped me out in life and even taught me things. Wish You Were Here makes me really sit down and think about the great friends that I've lost along the way. When I bought the album the other day, I cried the first time listening to it. Tremendous from Pink Floyd, Live at Knebworth. Thank you, to whoever is still with me. I really am thankful to anybody that chooses to click on my project. Much Love and regular pod soon come.

Another assault of randomized non-themed jams curated by yours truly, DJ Witwicky. I'd like to take the time to archive my alt. nicknames that I've either been dubbed, or dubbed myself so far

Nice. Looking ahead, some solid topics of discussion for the upcoming podcast episode. Should be able to discuss the future of Coffee Stain, some wicked hot football this weekend and I'll muster up another Halo highlight to boot. Much online love to you beautiful inhabitants of the inter web. I'm leaving you now because I have prior engagements to partake in other alternate activities.

In the long awaited return of Soul Searching, I bid thee Down In A Hole by Alice In Chains. Down In A Hole like the Lady of the Vale in Game of Throochies. Little Finger picked her up by her ankles and threw her down the moon door. Anyways.. As always, thank you for being here with me as we continue through this existence together, blasting our way through time and space listening to only the most polished, wicked hot jams of generations past. I'm traveling out of state tomorrow for the Suga Sean O'Malley fight. Going to see Escaleto and the boys. Much love to everybody, everybody except Derek Carr. He made me look like an idiot. Like I need any help in that department. And no love to Duke colleagues. Other than that, hope everybody has a tremendous weekend, I'll see you next time
Oh yeah... It's fall season, little chill in the air. Need a sweater? Wicked sweet sweaters and tee shirts for your enjoyment are available at

Hope somebody enjoys the Me/Kanye mix at the end. Took me like 20 extra minutes to line that up. Nice. Bada bing

Forget the themes again for this edition of Soul Searching. These jams don't have much in common besides the fact that they take me there. Like I said at the end, merch should be live this week I'll keep you guys posted on IG. My Dolphins let a reprehensible franchise, in the New York Jets, drop a 40 piece God forbid. First play into the game our quarterback was planted into the turf like a rose bush. As always, thank you for being here, hope you enjoyed this edition of my sub par project.

Ditched the themes this week, blasting a few randoms before I hit the road and leave town again. Hopefully for the last time in a while, I'm trying to schlump here at the house and finish Sopranos. Hope somebody out there enjoyed this one, the record collection has grown to a heap so keeping this thing going shouldn't be an issue. Might get repetitive, but that would be by choice haha. Apologies about the lack of Rick James in this one, I'll have to give you internet people a show next week. Thanks again, see you on the other side

Finding this Black Sabbath album today fired me up so I had to come correct and blast it for you folks on here. Black Sabbath might not be everyone's cup of tea but give it a chance, Columbus gave it a chance and here we are. Football about to start today but hey, maybe some listener is a road warrior driving for work and needed this beatdown to keep them going. Much love thanks for listening, have a great weekend and GO HEELS

Back like I never left with the SOUL section of VSS. Blasting off with a tremendous jam, Oye Como Va by the great Santana and not letting off the gas. Like I've said multiple times before, my hope in this is that just one person finds one song that takes them somewhere. I've discovered many absolute slappers because of podcasts like this and I'm grateful. So here you internet users go, DJ Witwicky here with another sensual evening of audible entertainment hand crafted just for you. I'm traveling back down to Georgia to see AK, Don Pablo, Wop and the boys this weekend for the Fantasy Draft. ITS FANTASY FOOTBALL TIME BABYYYY. Outside of the honorable Tanner Jack and Adam Silver, ya boy Witwicky is the coldest Commish in the game, going on 13 years running a league. I remember drafting LaDanian Tomlinson many years ago to put it in perspective. Breaking hearts on draft day this year, like always. ALSO, one of my fav episodes ever was put out just the other day, Episode 61 only on YouTube. I was lucky enough to have landed a massive NIL deal with the People's Champ, Duwe "Boom Boom" Farris of the Carolina Basketball Team. He rips guitar and we tore the Player's Lounge to the ground. Two separate neighbors called the cops because they thought my man cave was going up in flames. If you haven't, check that out on the big YouTube. Til next time
