Hana Shalabi, who has been imprisoned for the last 40 days in an Israeli prison, is on hunger strike to protest against the law of administrative detention which allows authorities to detain Palestinians for an indefinite amount of time without trial. Foreign Correspondent Hugh Naylor reports from Palestine.

Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing have returned to Auckland after suffering structural damage just 50 nautical miles into Leg 5. Abu Dhabi’s skipper Ian Walker reported that a bulkhead in the bow of their yacht Azzam, which secures a crucial heavy weather headsail, had ripped clean out. The crew returned safely to Auckland to repair the J4 bulkhead.
