Oh, and the title? It comes from a N&O article that described last week’s media briefing from the Governor as if the answers on reopening the state were coming from a Magic 8-Ball

Once again, while the ReOpenNC covidiots crowd themselves in front of the legislative building, the Tuesdays with Tillis protesters keep their distance on this Zoom conference.

In better times, TwT holds an in-person protest in front of NC Senator Thom Tillis’ office in the Federal Building on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh at 11:30. When the Stay Home recommendations/orders began, the group quickly shifted to online Zoom conferences, attracting about 50 group members at 11:30 each Tuesday.

We’re happy to use our vast technological empire to relay the conference live (and available for later replay) on the TwT Facebook Group and the Triangle Talk Show YouTube Channel. The audio feed is available shortly after the conference ends (we can’t do live audio… apparently out Empire is only half-vast).

While ReopenNC ignores the state and county requirements for social distancing (and more), marching around the Capitol, Tuesdays with Tillis respectfully pulled their protest off the street and onto Zoom week ago.
