Temptation comes to everyone. Even Jesus was tempted by the Devil to take a jump off the temple to see if the angels would catch Him. But Jesus’ response showed a deeper trust in God than simply testing His power. We too can be assured that even when we face life on the edge, that we can trust that God is still with us.

As we close this series, we are reminded again that God is worthy of our praise and that we are the instruments through which we tell the world. Livin the Life means duplication of what we know of our Lord through being His witness. As we learn to invest in others and invite them into a relationship with Jesus, we trust that God would open opportunities to do so.

No wise person builds a house on a foundation that is shifting and weak. Jesus uses this metaphor to describe the difference between people whose lives are solidly built because they put into practice his teaching, and others who simply hear what God says but they don't’ do anything about it.

What’s the difference between a Christian and a Disciple? One is a label, the other is a lifestyle. And while our churches are filled with Christians, few are filled with Disciples. This week, you’ll see why it’s important to go from being simple a Christian to becoming a Disciple.

Many people think that they are stuck in a life of boredom. Others feel that their life could be so much better but aren’t quick sure what that looks like. This week, we discover that in light of God’s goods thoughts of us, we are created for so much more. And that “More” gives our lives purpose as we Live the LIfe of a Disciple.
