Esau and Jacob, as twins, were constantly in brotherly competition much to Rebecca's dismay. Despite Esau's "birthright" as the first born, his parents did not want him to have it. When an expectation does not turn out the way we want it to, it causes a breach of trust in between families, sometimes for years. We will all experience such disparity at some point in our lives, so how do we go about mending our broken familial relationships?

We refuse to believe inJesus because we have not seen him. But, when his brokenness is revealed to us, we choose to love Jesus and rejoice in his name. The cure for doubt is not certainty, but commitment. So, how do we go about not doubting God with "blind" faith?

Pastor Jack encourages us to look at "Doubting Thomas" in a new light.

Hear the good news! Jesus, the Lord our God has defeated death! The grave has been robbed! Rejoice!

He is risen!

Is Palm Sunday all about shouts of Hosanna and high fives? Why is Jesus riding on a donkey? Would I have been a member of the crowd?

What are we thankful for? Are we thankful for the right things? Is it our pride that is actually behind our 'thankfulness'?

Pastor Jack encourages us to focus more on compassion than contempt.

We did not get to where we are alone. We must remember the Lord our God. With that in mind, how do we cultivate humility in our lives? How can confession reminds us that only God is God?

"You are the one who can invite people into your life and to your table."
