What can Mary teach us about Christmas?

The holiday season can be hard for us. Whether it be the loss of someone dear to us, or other things that trouble our hearts, God wants to bring Heaven into our Hell. If we focus in and look closely into the eyes of Mary, we can see a glimpse of Jesus.

"May we do our part in making this world look a whole lot more like heaven..."

It is impossible to be successful, triumphant, or at peace without the power of God. How does God prune and purify us when we remain in him?

In this Holiday season, how do we practice stillness when all that is around us is maxed out with business? How do our everyday choices transform us?

What is Jesus's job description in my life?

"God is always more willing to offer forgiveness than we are to ask for it."

Forgiving the trespasses of others is one of the hardest things to do, but without it we are stuck in a debtors prison. We become so crushed with baggage that we cast our frustration and pain out upon those around us. How do we let go of it all and forgive as God forgives us of our trespasses we have committed on him?

How do we delay gratification to learn? To heal? How do we become comfortable as the only one in the waiting room? Maybe waiting isn't a punishment, but a refinement of ourselves in God's image.

We often let our baggage crush us when we choose not to have mercy, forgiving those who have sinned against us and left us with debts. Keeping grudges only adds to the baggage and destruction that we inflict on others. If we choose to not forgive others of their debts, God will not forgive us of our own debts.
