Jeremiah's famous quote of scripture doesn't mean what we think it does...We have to endure pain and frustration through times of change to grow in God's plan for us. We might think that these times of change aren't the best, but we should still build, plant, and grow as the seasons will unquestionably change again.

When things change as we grow, we are forced to ask ourselves the big questions. New transitions are scary and frustrating, sometimes causing us to dwell on our "glory days" or better times. As we enter the start of the season of being thrown into the fire, God reminds us to call unto him during the changing of the seasons and we will find him and his peace among all of the chaos.

Have you ever wondered into a room and wondered where you were going to sit, and who with? God's forgiveness expands his table, making a place for each and every one of us despite our debts, faults, and shortcomings. Who are we restricting from having a seat at ours?

Feeling welcome in a brand new environment is tough. Welcoming something new into a comfortable environment is even tougher. God shows love and grace to welcome all of us into his presence. How can we do the same?
