Kagan McLeod is an illustrator and comic book artist based in Toronto, Ontario. Kagan is known for expressive brush drawing in ink, watercolour and acrylic-gouache. He’s had illustrations published in a variety of magazines, including GQ, Cosmopolitan, Time, People and Reader’s Digest, as well as newspapers The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times. In comics, Kagan is known for his book Infinite Kung Fu, and Chip Zdarsky’s Kaptara. He also worked on IDW’s Cobra Kai comic. In 2019, Penguin Random House published his instructive drawing book Draw People Every Day. Kagan also created the end credits to the Disney-Marvel TV show ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ featuring his illustrations.

Kagan and Chip Zdarsky join forces to provide fans with the conclusion of their beloved science fiction series and follows Kaptara Volume 1: Fear Not Tiny Alien. Kaptara Volume 2: Universal Truths, from Image Comics, is the story of astronaut Keith Kanga, trapped on the planet of Kaptara, who is trying to find his way home, but a planetary war is really messing with that.

Anthony Ruttgaizer is a comic book writer and occasional cartoonist best known for such works as the all-ages graphic novel series Heroes of Homeroom C, superhero comics The First Hero and Actionverse and the monster apocalypse neo-western Chance For Survival. Anthony is also the host of the pop culture podcast, The Handsome Genius Club Radio Show.

Heroes Of Homeroom C tells the tale of Nicola and Albert Hathaway, twin 12 year old, African-American superheroes, who lose their powers and get sent back to public school to try and jumpstart a “normal life”.  But even in the small town paradise of Tranquil, Massachusetts, the kids find themselves caught up in danger and excitement. Nicola and Albert face off against a young wizard named Damien LeVey.  Damien and his mother have recently moved to Tranquil following his parents’ divorce.  Damien enacts a desperate plan, filled with dark magic, that he thinks will let him return to live with his father, a not-too-successful west coast supervillain.

Andy Brown is founding editor and publisher of Conundrum Press that began in 1996, amidst the political turmoil and cultural vibrancy of Montreal. Andy originally published chapbooks, short stories, novels, comics, and zine collections, but in 2010 he revised the output to exclusively publish literary graphic novels.

Based in Victoria, British Columbia, Whitney Gardner is an author and cartoonist who spends most of her time hidden in the Pacific Northwest wrapped in a fuzzy sweater. She started drawing stick figures in second grade and somehow no one’s been able to stop her. Before becoming an author she worked as an art teacher and school librarian where she fell utterly and completely in love with children’s books. Whitney is noted for her many books including: Long Distance,You’re Welcome Universe, Fake Blood, Chaotic Good and The RACC Pack YA graphic novels. In the rare moment Whitney isn’t writing or drawing, she’s likely to be reading comics, running D&D campaigns, or roasting coffee.

The story of The RACC Pack #2: Prince and the Pawper goes like this: “The Bins siblings have their sights set on the big pet expo in the heart of downtown Toronto. Dusty, Scraps, and ReRe expect to loot the convention for the latest treats, and they definitely don’t expect to meet…Dusty’s doppelganger?! Prince the Raccoon is everything Dusty isn’t—famous, pampered, and rich! But Prince wants to know what life is like outside his comfy digs and on the streets. So, with the Bins’ help, Dusty and Prince decide to switch places. At first, Dusty has a great time living it up, but he soon learns the grass isn’t always greener on the other side…even when that side has all the snacks he can eat!”
