Far too many believers pick a church and pastor based on how it makes them feel. There’s a time for encouragement and uplifting, but if you’re living in sin and you don’t have someone who loves you enough to tell you so, the “self-help” style messages that skirt the issues will do you little good. In today’s message, Pastor Gary will challenge us to seek out truth, even when it rubs us the wrong way. If it goes against the grain of our desires, it’s our desires that need to change – not the truth.

God’s grace is all you need. Nothing else. You don’t have to do a single thing to earn it or maintain it. God didn’t look at you and how well behaved you were before you were saved and determine that He would send Jesus because you earned it. He saw you and I in all of our wickedness, inside and out, and He wanted to send Jesus to save us in spite of all that. As Pastor Gary will remind us in today’s message, Jesus has done everything necessary to reconcile us to God.

Some people think others are too far gone into sin to ever be saved. Some people even think they themselves are too far gone to be saved by God. But, today, Pastor Gary will encourage you with the truth that no one is beyond salvation. No one. God can forgive any sin and save any soul. God will change your heart and your life when you believe in Him. Put your trust in Him, and come to Him humbly, recognizing your need and His grace. Bring yourself to him as you are. And He’ll welcome you and save you!

The Jewish people of Jesus’ day had gotten really good at knowing scripture, obeying its laws and rules, and even adding many more to obey. Yet, they were not, in general, a people who loved God and sought a relationship with Him. And because of this, Pastor Gary teaches today, they felt the weight of the burden of trying to be good enough. Jesus came to them to free them of the fruitless effort of working their way to Heaven. He offered them the free gift of grace and forgiveness to all who’d simply believe in Him.

Each and every one of us has heard the question “how can a loving God send someone to Hell” at least once in our lives. As seemingly innocent or genuine as this question might seem, it's actually quite misleading and lacks the understanding of basic doctrine. As Pastor Gary will remind you in his message today, all of humanity has the free choice to accept the Work on the Cross. In his study, you'll learn that Scripture very clearly states that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

Chances are you're familiar with the belief that certain attributes of The Holy Spirit were limited to the birth of the Church. Not only is this misleading and found nowhere in the Bible, but it also suggests that there's a sort of finite nature to The Spirit. In today's message, Pastor Gary reflects the abundant and infinite nature of God's Spirit, which knows no limitations. In his study, you'll be both reminded and encouraged to know that you can draw from The Spirit whenever you need a refill, as often as you need.

In Proverbs, we read that “the heart of man plans his course, but The Lords guides his feet.” Unfortunately, many of us often assume that the guidance of The Lord is passive, and requires little to no effort on our end. However, as Pastor Gary will teach you in his message today, in order for The Lord to truly guide us, we must actively seek Him through His Word and prayer. In his study, you'll learn how God's Word plays a heavy role in both revealing our flaws and shaping us into the likeness of His Son.

When would you say was the last time that you had a sole responsibility that you genuinely felt was assigned to you by The Lord? If it's been quite a while, the next question you can ask yourself is when did you last spend time wholeheartedly seeking Him? In today's message, Pastor Gary will encourage you to fervently seek The Lord in prayer and to faithfully act on His guidance. In his study, you'll learn that the more committed you are to The Kingdom, the less the things of this world will matter to you.
