Jesus told us in this life we have troubles, but we don’t always know how to navigate when those come. Maybe we know the right way to operate, but what do we do with how we feel? Today on the podcast, Lindsay and I are diving deep into the topic of what might be passivity in our feelings with God and how true surrender often comes with a fight. In this episode, you’ll hear us discuss the reasons we may not want to be honest with ourselves and others– and lastly but most importantly, with God. You’ll also hear some markers that could indicate places we may be operating with more passivity than true obedience. We also search through the two biggest markers of authentic surrender: honesty and humility. In all of these, Lindsay and I share some vulnerable lessons the Lord has taught us in wrestling with Him over His provision in the times it didn’t look the way we wanted.
