In this episode we go over a little unheard area full of creeps and spoops known as the Bridgewater Triangle. It is said this area is full of  paranormal phenomena, ranging from UFOs to poltergeists, orbs, balls of fire and other spectral phenomena, various bigfoot-like sightings, giant snakes, thunderbirds and creatures called the Pukwudgie. This land was occupied by the Wampanoag people.

Trigger warning for all pour native folks out there that don't speak about this subject. Please move to the next episode and we love all of you.   For those who stayed...In the Navajo or the Diné culture, a skinwalker is a type of harmful witch who has the ability to turn into, possess, or disguise themselves as an animal. This witch is called “yee naaldlooshii” by the Diné, which translates to “with it, he goes on all fours.” It is just one of several types of Diné witches and is considered the most volatile and dangerous.  In order to become a Skinwalker, he or she must be initiated by a secret society that requires the evilest of deeds – the killing of a close family member, most often a sibling. After this task has been completed, the individual then acquires supernatural powers, which gives them the ability to shape-shift into animals. Most often, they are seen in the form of coyotes, wolves, foxes, cougars, dogs, and bears, but can take the shape of any animal. They then wear the skins of the animals they transform into, hence, the name Skinwalker.  Don't forget to email us your stories for the Halloween Bonus episode. Throughout Mesoamerican culture, they practiced human sacrifice and ritual cannibalism to placate the god of the underworld Mictlantecuhtli ( Mik-Lan-the-klulee). Mictlantecuhtli  is usually portrayed in art as a skeleton or covered in bones with red spots representing blood. He wears a skull mask, bone ear plugs, a costume of owl feathers and even a necklace of eyeballs. He has curly black hair and powerful eyes which allow him to penetrate the gloom of the underworld.  The owl was a symbol of a bad omen and death. In ancient times, evil was a very real part of the world. The elders believed that evil spirits and monsters lived all around us, waiting for their chance to attack.These monsters were cruel and heartless and felt no pity for human suffering. They stalked the night, killing people for pleasure or sport. Have you ever heard of the little people that live in the mountains and caves underground?  Some believe they are man eaters and are quite tricky. They dip their arrowheads in poison and shoot them at people passing through their land. They carry them into the caves underground feasting on their  flesh. They are goblin-like beings roughly one to two feet tall, with sharp teeth and stumpy necks.  Next time you end up in the woods in Montana near the Pryor Mountains be mindful of your surroundings you might think you’re just enjoying the wilderness but you could be going deeper and deeper into the "little peoples" land.  Joseph explores the "Little people" of the Crow Nation.   Once you are well acquainted with the Crow people get ready to be a little creeped out with Gabriels tale.  He talks about the famous Mummy of the San Pedro Mountains.
