There are certain names that are well known because of vacation tragedies—Madeline McCain, Amy Lynn Bradley and Natalee Holloway, which we will circle back to later in this episode. Their stories have been told around the world, and rightfully so. They matter. Their families deserve answers, their stories deserve to be remembered, and for those who remain missing, they deserve to still be searched for.But for every case that becomes a household name, there are others with truly twisted circumstances that receive only a fraction of the attention.And today, I want to tell you about one of them.His name is Max DeVries.It’s been 22 years since the 14 year old disappeared while on vacation with his family in Aruba. For months the community was left feeling uneasy, confused, and heartbroken. To this day this case has left many questions unanswered and at the end of the day Kaylee, Madison, Ethan, and Xana deserved so much better. On February 13, 2017, two best friends—13-year-old Abby Williams and 14-year-old Libby German—set out for a walk along the scenic Monon High Bridge in Delphi, Indiana. 35 year-old Shawndell Mcleod woke up early in the morning on September 25th 2011 to start her shift opening the kitchen at the nursing home near her home in Lithonia Georgia.
