The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 4:
6:05pm- On Friday night, President Donald Trump spoke with the press briefly before boarding Marine One—where he reacted to his chaotic meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump accused Zelensky of “over playing his hand” and continued to insist the U.S. merely wants “peace.”
6:10pm- What’s your favorite Gene Hackman movie? Rich and Justin debate—meanwhile Matt concedes the only Hackman movie he has ever seen is “Welcome to Mooseport.”
6:30pm- On Friday, President Donald Trump invited Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to visit the White House with the intention of holding a joint press conference before signing an agreement that would provide security guarantees to Ukraine in exchange for access to the country’s rare earth mineral reserves. However, while speaking with the press in the Oval Office, Zelensky seemingly blamed the United States for ignoring Russian aggression and predations, specifically in 2014. In response, Trump noted that he wasn’t in office at that time—and unlike then-President Barack Obama, who provided Ukrainians with “sheets,” the Trump Administration armed Ukraine with javelin missiles. During the heated exchange, Trump stated: “You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War III.” At one point, he emphasized “if you didn’t have our military equipment this war would have been over in 2-weeks.” According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Zelensky left the White House without signing the negotiated agreement.
