A new 10% tariff on Chinese goods is still set to go into effect, as Beijing and the White House have yet to come to terms on any possible delay. President Trump saying Monday he expects he’ll be “speaking to China probably over the next 24 hours,” after Beijing promised countermeasures to the looming U.S. tariffs.
