Over his 35-year career in the Indian Foreign Service, he specialized in India’s relations with Eurasia, including Russia, Ukraine, and Central Asia. Academically, he holds degrees from St. Stephen’s College, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and Princeton University. Currently, he is a strategic advisor and Distinguished Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, advising global businesses on geopolitics, governance, and international strategy.
