Allegations that Donald Trump may in fact be a time traveller who journeyed backwards in time to win the 2016 presidential election to save the world from disaster have surfaced on the internet.

Several narratives created by Ingersoll Lockwood in the 1890’s (i.e., “Baron Trump’s Marvelous Underground Journey” and “1900; Or, The Last President”) have eerie coincidences with present day events related to Donald Trump.

The plot further thickens due to connections between Donald Trump, John G. Trump (Donald’s relative and former head of research at MIT), and the famous inventor Nikola Tesla. Limited data indicates that Tesla designed a time-machine that John G. Trump may have had access to, which Donald Trump may or may not have used.

Present day physicists including Brian Cox, Ronald Mallet, and Michio Kaku indicate that forward time-travel is possible (i.e., the closer one travels to the speed of light, the slower time passes FOR THEM). Issues arise when discussing traveling backwards in time, although physicists agree mathematically it is possible (although massive amounts of energy–almost infinite–would be required).
