The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (02/28/2025):
3:05pm- On Friday, President Donald Trump invited Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to visit the White House with the intention of holding a joint press conference before signing an agreement that would provide security guarantees to Ukraine in exchange for access to the country’s rare earth mineral reserves. However, while speaking with the press in the Oval Office, Zelensky seemingly blamed the United States for ignoring Russian aggression and predations, specifically in 2014. In response, Trump noted that he wasn’t in office at that time—and unlike then-President Barack Obama, who provided Ukrainians with “sheets,” the Trump Administration armed Ukraine with javelin missiles. During the heated exchange, Trump stated: “You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War III.” At one point, he emphasized “if you didn’t have our military equipment this war would have been over in 2-weeks.” According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Zelensky left the White House without signing the negotiated agreement.
4:05pm- In a post to social media, following a heated exchange in the Oval Office, President Donald Trump wrote: “We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure. It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”
