I am especially excited about this podcast because I get to interview my wonderful husband, Dr. Peter Wang. :)
Dr. Peter is currently a pediatrician for Stanford Children's Health in California. He has 30+ years of experience and I thought he was the perfect person to bring on the show to discuss the rapidly popular topic: COVID19, coronavirus, SARS2, etc.
Whatever you want to call it, this fast-growing pandemic we are all battling together.
On today’s podcast, I get a little excited about women. So get ready. Start with love, my friends. I recently saw the news about Katie Sowers in the NFL and also read the top 9 democratic nominations which included two women. If you know me, you know how excited I was by both of these articles. These women have shown up with talent, experience, and desire and are changing the rules. Let’s open the doors to possibilities in our lives.
My interview with Sousanna is breathtaking. Her story is both heart wrenching and heartwarming and she wrote it all down in her book: Sousanna The Lost Daughter
Her novel inspired by true events explores the bonds between parents and child, the lasting effect of words spoken to young children, and what “for the good of the child” means.
It's the most wonderful time of the year so let's discuss gift suggestions; good and bad. I can't help but have fun in this latest podcast episode as we gear up for the busy holiday season. What gifts do you plan to buy?
Dr. Dorothy is a close friend of mine and I had the pleasure of (physically) sitting down with her to record this episode. Which was so exciting!
Dr. Dorothy became a Catholic nun, an international airline stewardess, a wife, mother, psychotherapist, graduate teacher, clinical instructor at a medical school, a pioneer in the field of integrative health, founder of 4 companies, author, speaker, and finally strategic partner to dreamers and leaders while supporting them in going to the next level.
In this episode, we talk more about her recent ventures and how they relate to current situations, more about Emotional Intelligence, and life in general.
Rosemary O’Connor is the founder of ROC Recovery Services (www.rocrecoveryservices.com) and Sober Moms Guide (www.sobermomsguide.com). With over twenty years of personal and professional experience in the addiction recovery field. In 2015 Hazelden Publishing released her first book, A Sober Mom's Guide to Recovery- Taking Care of Yourself to Take Care of Your Kids.
She has a B.A. in psychology, is a Certified Professional Coach, a Certified Addiction Coach, a She Recovers® Master Coach, and a Pivot Plus Advocate.

In this episode, Diane talks about how emotional intelligence is the secret to a successful life. She digs deep into how she stumbled upon this solution and has been sharing word about it ever since.
If you’re not understanding or recognizing your emotions and you don't know what to do with them and you don't have or haven’t learned to be empathic in your life.. things are not going to feel successful.
We also talk about how to reduce and stress and anxiety as we watch the horrific things happening in the news. It's awful! So I also share a motivation quote for good measure. Enjoy!
It's simple, not always easy but simple, Simply Shrocking.
The definition of emotions is.... a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.
Understanding and expressing your emotions is another story. And I am here to share with you how important it is. And a few examples I've noticed along my therapy journey.
Then it's time for some Wicked and Wise where we discuss Donald Trump, NASA, and GoFundMe.
Well grab your coffee or tea and let's spill! Today I'm here to discuss some daring topics. Let’s just call them Wicked and Wise.
This podcast is all about ways to increase our Emotional Intelligence in real-life events. Some examples are disturbingly shocking aka Wicked. Others show us how individuals and groups demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence in simple and profound ways. Wise.
I bring up these stories because they deeply affect and encourage me to share what I am learning with you. I also provide some EQ 101 and point out the levels of emotional intelligence as they are evidenced in each event. Thanks for joining in. You matter to me.
