To say this is a powerful podcast would be a rash understatement. Brandon Peele shares his journey from an affluent but "soul-starved" upper class upbringing and receiving an MBA from Columbia University to living a life of purpose. To summarize a wonderful story, as with many, a journey of fast living and self-destructive behavior led him to seek a life that was fueled by purpose and equity. 

He sought out Purpose work, creating a program to initiate youth to adulthood and responsibility, and teaching/coaching in corporations as well as for so many others what it means to be an authentic man living on purpose. The discussion of balancing the archetypes of Warrior and Lover to present as a powerful and compassionate warrior was heart-warming and inspiring.

Who knows where his future will lead him but the House or Senate could certainly use a Global Purpose Caucus. I know one man who could represent us well in either segment of government and who would have my support every step of the way.

Spending an hour with Dr. Meg Haworth is an amazing journey into witnessing what the human form can endure and still come out shining. Dr. Meg shares her love of life, her willingness to go forward, and her humanity of understanding we all go forward, then back, and then forward again. She, however, did it in ways never imagined - lightening strike and all.

Adoption has many myths around it. While some adoptees want to find their birth family, others do not. Some adoptee parents want to be found; others do not. For Dottie, her birth father, when found, wanted nothing to do with her. He had a new life with three adult children and wanted to be left alone. Out of curiosity, Dottie joined ancestry.com in order to find out anything she could about him but realized that without birthdates, etc., there was no way to begin. Although ancestry.com had her DNA, she simply stopped looking.

Miraculously, eleven years later her aunt, at eighty-four years young, decided to go on ancestry.com to search out relatives. Out of the blue Dottie was notified that someone with 14,763 identical markers was looking for her - and so a new, or continuing, story began, with three sisters, nineteen cousins, and one aunt and uncle to meet...

In speaking with or listening to Dr. Bridget you can easily get lost in all she has to say. Her history of abuse and her ability to turn everything around to support herself, her daughters, and all her clients is absolutely awe-inspiring. While giving a TedX talk, Bridget froze, walked off the stage, and 30 seconds later returned better than ever – an absolute demonstration of how she does life. She had it all together, blanked, left the stage, breathed, reviewed her materials, and returned. There is no problem she will not see through to the end. Healing and moving forward.
