Each of us has something to offer in these times to help the greater good.  As our way of life changes, the task is to figure out what can be offered. what can be given freely. 

As a healer, my intuition, knowledge and support are what I most have to give.  

This episode started out as a small free online group session and expanded to recording it for expanded use in the general public.  I describe some of the basic background you might like to know to use hypnosis with full confidence that it is for your strength, healing, and highest light.

All my hypnosis one to one sessions will give you more confidence and feelings of calm. Hypnosis is widely known to have the benefit of increasing quality sleep so even if that is all that you receive, it is a gift. 

In terms of immunity, I take you on an amazing journey to the source of your white blood cell production of Neutrophils, Macrophages, T cells, B cells, and Killer Cells.  

Please share this resource so that many may benefit.

Eat nourishing food, sleep long and well, exercise every day and provide your body with positive and calm suggestions.  Even JUST being calmer is a very positive aid for your immune system.

Although this episode seems long, the first 11 minutes are the background and 36 remaining minutes are the hypnosis.  The first time, listen through the whole thing but when you repeat it (and I recommend repeating it often to create a strong patterning) skip forward to the 11 minute mark.

Following up on a request to speak directly about fear, I decided to invite others to share their thoughts on the subject of what they fear, how it manifests and limits their lives and how they overcome it.  

There are 3 main perspectives offered from three women I called Alison, Julia and Lynn (not their real names) Each of them is at different stages of exploring the opportunity and lessons that fear has presented them in their lives.  I also asked two of my young sons to speak briefly about their fears.   I am deeply grateful to all of them for overcoming the fear of speaking about their fears so candidly and for allowing me to include them in this podcast episode!

In this episode,  I speak about my return to Vancouver Island and the concepts of False Paradise, what heroes journey encompasses and how we are all heroes in our own stories.  I use my own journey to and from my own island paradise as the thread that weaves together the concepts of my interpretation of heroism, the inner journey of expansion,  in my own life and yours.

There is a lot of background and commentary available online regarding the Greek mythology of Odysseus, and interpretations of the story of the land of lotus eaters and you can familiarize yourself with them there.

Spiritual Bypassing is part of entering into spiritual truth with yourself.  As humans, we generally want to avoid pain and anxiety.  It's hard-wired into us.  So when faced with promises of a better way, a way free of strife, and it looks as virtuous as most spiritual quick fixes claim to be, most of us go there at least some of the time.  But the danger is in existing there.  Pain and sorrow serve a purpose and bring us lessons and messages about our personal journey.  They are the True "fast" path (which may last your lifetime) to finding what lives in our core- personal love, integrity and light- and strengthen us to face a myriad of everyday challenges and find meaning for our existence. 

In this episode, I reference a personal short poem and the concepts of

Robert Augustus Masters from his book Spiritual Bypassing: When Spirituality Disconnects us from What Really Matters Published 2010 by North Atlantic Books.

As predictable as the cycles of winter/summer/winter, light/dark/light, following the path of a spiritual life inevitably brings the seeker to a space of Long Dark Night of the Soul.  This experience of uncertainty, questioning, or loneliness while maintaining faith in a divine source is an essential step in the communion the universal truth of god energy. This is just one of these moments in my life when I hold space for the light in a place of pregnant dark.

In this episode, I take you through a brief description of the service that I offer in my practice.  Then, I give you a sample of a versatile tool- Hypnosis.  I use Hypnotherapy or Hypnosis in my sessions, either when my clients request it or I will offer it when someone feels particularly stuck in an emotional pattern.  The free hypnosis session offered here is a general and introductory experience that will give you a taste of what it feels like and what can be achieved.  You may hear every word or nothing at all but rest assured that you are doing it right and everything I say will be in your subconscious mind when we finish.  In this session, you will have an opportunity to meet and speak with your inner advisor and set powerful intentions for your immediate future.
