Dr.  Goodwin is an accomplished professional with 18 years of experience in the New York City Police Department, and currently serves as a Detective Investigator and Hostage Negotiator, known for her passion, dedication, and results-driven approach to negotiations, helping individuals and organizations build stronger relationships and develop long-term solutions that yield better results and increase productivity both professionally and personally. She is also an Author and a distinguished individual who has made significant contributions to her community and profession. In 2022, she was awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement and she is a Recipient of the 2020 HOPE Award for heroic work in suicide prevention! Yes, she is winning! Memorial Day is a day to remember the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The holiday originated after the Civil War and was originally known as Decoration Day. The original intent was to decorate graves with flowers and flags, but over time it evolved into a day for picnics, parades and other activities.

Today, Memorial Day is celebrated as an opportunity for Americans to honor those who have given their lives in defense of our nation.

Todd Reed is a movie fx artist, entrepreneur and passionate creator. Todd has pursued many adventures to include, touring musician and restaurant owner but none gave him the satisfaction more than his journey of being a Graphic & Horror Aesthetics Creator.  

Todd is also the co-founder of a  Haunted House Project with his wife Tonya. The Haunted House Project entitled, Hunger Holler Farms, is a haunted house that offers people the chance to experience their own nightmares come to life. This type of  haunted house is set in Mansfield, Ohio and Todd and Tonya are excited about the opportunity it will present to them and especially the over the top excitement it will bring to the Mansfield community and beyond!  They hope that this project will inspire others to create their own dreams into reality through hard work and perseverance.

My grandma had all kinds of sayings and parables but this one referring to idle time was by far one of her favorites. These days, we find ourselves using the same phrase when speaking with each other and especially when talking to teenagers. As you know, when they get  bored, they’re  more likely to be idle and indulge in unproductive activities like surfing the internet, watching TV or playing video games.

In the age of productivity, it's no wonder why so many people have trouble focusing and shutting off their minds. But when we do, our brains don't just relax and enjoy a well-deserved break — they run wild with idle thoughts. Idle time is the devil's workshop. That's why we often try to avoid it. We want to be productive and make the most of our time.  

Sometimes it's best just to shut off our minds for a while and enjoy some peace and quiet.

But, don’t let that idle time become the devil's workshop — use your time wisely! Let’s get into this episode!

We are often told that happiness is a choice. That's why we encourage people to "choose happiness" or "live your best life." But it's not that easy, right? No matter how simple the words may sound the action is not simple at all. Even if you want to be happy, you can't always make yourself feel good. There are plenty of reasons, legitimate reasons,  why some people aren't happy: they may have bad relationships, they're in bad jobs or they're struggling with mental health issues. There are so many and too many to tackle in one episode, but we step in to discuss 3 of them.
