1 Peter 4 says, "As stewards of the manifold grace of God, use the spiritual gift that you have been given to build up the body of Christ."

What God delights in doing is revealing Himself, showing up and revealing the plans that He has for us in a way the changes our live and changes the world!

God is a covenant keeper. He kept and is keeping his covenant with Abraham. God made a covenant with us through Jesus Christ and keeps it and delivers on it.

Abraham is a hero, although he is not the central figure in the story of Abraham. The central figure is God!

When we made the trasfer from being lost and dead in sin to crossing the line and having new life in Jesus Christ, we changed masters! We were under the mastery of sin, now we are under the mastery of Jesus Christ.

See to it that no one takes you captive through empty philosophy according to the traditions of men rather than according to Christ! Jesus Christ should be at the center of our thinking!

A passage in this message tells us to follow as we live out this new life in Christ. This is the first one; put on Christ's virutes!
