Is God building you up spiritually? Are you asking Him to? Are you cooperating with Him? Are you responding to His work within your life or are you resisting Him?

Every person is in one of two categories; either in the category of needing to receive Christ or in the category of having received Christ and needing to live in Christ.

The mission of the gospel is to proclaim Christ to everyone and to present everyone perfect in Christ. We proclaim him admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

The message of the gospel is a message about who Jesus is and what Jesus has done for us.

It doesnt matter whether you are in the first few steps or you are well down the path of following Jesus; there is an area of your life that absolutely needs to be surrendered to him.

The ultimate question for the seeker is this. What do I believe about Jesus Christ?

We are in the light in the kingdom of God's son. We have a new king, Jesus Christ. But if you dont know that you have a new king and that you are in a new kingdom, you cant live as a kingdom citizen. But once we know what is true about us, we can be set free by that truth through Jesus Christ.

In the book of Colossians, the apostle Paul brings everything back to Jesus Christ. Paul says ultimately all of our theological, religious, philosophical and life questions find their answer in Jesus. That was not only true at the time that Paul originally wrote this book, it is true for us today.

Sometimes persistence in prayer is just a couple of days, sometimes its a couple of months, sometimes its a couple of years, sometimes its thirty five years plus.

The bible says that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and that we have been made complete in Christ. Christ truly is the answer to the real spiritual struggles that everyone faces.
