Politicians of both parties have lost the trust of many American people. Much of today’s legacy mainstream news media has become an empty, corrupt shadow of what it once was. It is troubling that the “Fourth Estate,” once rooted in freedom of the press, now too often promotes lies, indoctrination, and distorted truth. Many cable, satellite, and streaming channels have also abandoned the standards of legitimate journalism. Although there are many conservative outlets and podcasts, some of them are questionable because they have become little more than platforms for paid advertising and merchandising. Alternative media on both the left and the right are often compromised. That is why this program still struggles to stay alive, to be a light in an increasingly darkening world.

Looking back over the past 25 years, what did America’s War on Terror actually give us? More peace and stability on the earth? Not hardly. The wars in Iraq from 2002 until 2021 cost the lives of nearly 6000 Americans, and for what? What did the Western World gain from the billions, if not trillions, of dollars spent? Not much of anything but more unrest for decades and profits for the “Military Industrial Complex.” While true Islam is a real threat, and has been for 1400+ years, our politically motivated actions these past decades have not changed anything. Today, Bob continues a train of thought about what these past 25 years have given us and challenges some of the conventional wisdom and established narratives.

George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States from January 2001 until January 2009 (the beginning of the Obama years), was honestly a mixed bag for the United States. Under the banner of “Compassionate Conservative,” the United States embarked on a journey of expensive nation (re)building, but at what cost? Did we understand what we were truly facing then? Do we really understand the world we are facing now? Bob looks back and then starts a journey to look ahead.

In recent years, there has been a change in the mindset of many people on a few important topics. The purpose of this radio program and podcast is NOT to amplify the noise of conspiracy theories that cannot be proven or to share unfounded opinions with no merit. While some things may prove to be true in time, many others prove to be false. It is better to hold fast to what is true than what may be nothing but speculation.

One of the “touchiest” topics today involves the Middle East. Much of what is out there in regard to Israel, Palestine, and the Middle East has little to no basis in history or the Bible. There are extreme positions on both sides of this issue, which are both equally incorrect. So what is true? What is trustworthy? The answer to that question can be found conclusively in the Bible. Our opinions do NOT matter, only what God’s Word has to say.

Today, Bob shares an outstanding message from the Reverend Brett Murphy, the pastor of a very biblically sound Anglican Church which is NOT a part of the church of England or any other Apostate denomination. His church is the Emmanuel Free Church of England in Morecambe, UK. Under Pastor Murphy’s leadership, this congregation has grown, including young families. He is also outspoken on the “de-Christianization” of the United Kingdom. Rev. Murphy is a powerful, spirit-filled preacher and worth your time. Listen, learn, and respond.

If the lights went out, your phone had no service, and the Internet was down, how would you communicate? How would you get news and information? In a major disaster of political disruption, all normal communications could be censored, limited, or gone. Even radio stations, including shortwave stations, could very likely be off the air. Today, Bob welcomes a special guest who heads up an incredible organization called AmRRON.

Founded in 2011, the American Redoubt Radio Operators Network (AmRRON) began as a radio communications network to share information and coordinate in response to disasters in the Pacific Northwest. By 2013, members joined from over half of the other states in the US. The American Preparedness Radio Network (TAPRN) on the East Coast merged with AmRRON in 2013.

By 2014, AmRRON/TAPRN consisted of members from every state, and now consists of members in Canada, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Japan, and elsewhere. Over the past decade, AmRRON has responded to numerous real-world disasters, including hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and other incidents, providing communications support to those in the affected areas.
