Consciousness, Higher Self & Evolution

I don’t know if you've ever come across a book called the I Ching, which I believe was written originally in Chinese. I've got an English translation here by Brian Brown Walker, and in the front of this book there's a quote which I really like:

“The only true aristocracy is that of Consciousness.”

DH Lawrence was an English writer, novelist, poet and essayist. His works reflect on modernity, industrialisation, sexuality, emotional health, vitality, spontaneity and instinct. His best-known novels—Sons and Lovers, The Rainbow, Women in Love, and Lady Chatterley's Lover— were the subject of censorship trials.

Of course, at the time when he was writing, using a word like aristocracy was completely cool.  It meant elite, what we aspire to, what we admire. Nowadays, the use of the word aristocracy is not nearly as acceptable or PC.  I read DH’s quote to a friend of mine the other day and he said: 

“So what you're saying is - Consciousness is the pinnacle of the whole shebang?”.  

Exactly.  Here’s another quote:

“The next stage of our evolution as a species, is the evolution of our Consciousness."

… and that's why I decided to make that my life mission - to serve the evolution of human consciousness.  Presumptuous?  Perhaps.  I like it.

So welcome to 2023. I invite you this year to honour your Consciousness, take care of it even more than usual.  Say hello to your Higher Self.  Invite your Higher Self into play, and really have a fantastic year.

Chaos, Vulnerability, Leadership & Being Extraordinary

Robert pioneered personal transformational growth in the U.S.A and Asia with over one million graduates from companies he founded and led. 

Today he is a Speaker, Leadership Trainer, Best-selling Author, Business Consultant and Executive Mentor.

Robert was raised in poverty and with much physical and emotional abuse. Dropped out of college after one semester as a result of suffering the first of three heart attacks. He attended one of the early Human Potential Training events which helped him “get me out of the way of success.” He went on to incredible entrepreneurial accomplishment and at least one notable failure.

Retired at 46 to a 14,500 sq ft home in Aspen with his wife, the love of his life. Then lost it all —  business failure and divorce —  with lots of learning from those mostly unpleasant experiences.

Now Robert works as Mentor to executives committed to living extraordinary lives. Robert is once again engaged in a fresh start and loves working with extraordinary entrepreneurs and owners who want support in integrating business growth and profit with joy and satisfaction.

He has spoken before audiences of 15 – 8500 from New York to Las Vegas to Beijing and many place in between; presenting to associations, corporations, non-profits and Rotary Clubs from Aspen to Singapore. I’m fascinated by the whole question of ‘being extraordinary’ - and Robert has been steeped in this exploration for decades.  A wise and generous man - I believe we all have much to learn from Robert.

Inquiry, Surrender & The Truth About Love
