Our TTAH Special Correspondent Brian Miller is back, mostly recovered from his last show with us, where we opened Surstromming. Ryan has something special, and his tease for us was, “It’s a Bug’s Life.” It’s what you think.

Pandemic highlights: Food trucks in Teeg’s neighborhood, Ryan’s making a trip back to Iowa as they resume “life on the road,” and Michelle finally got a haircut – which led to our favorite topic of the show; Ryan’s self-inflicted haircut.

Michael has more stories than we could ever get into the show. He takes us to Antarctica, Alaska, Africa … and the early days of podcasting. From walking with penguins to eating elephant, this show is high adventure.

Ben is the kind of guy who lives in a turn of the century church building, and he built a log cabin by hand from reclaimed materials. Growing up, he and Teeg developed the same love of candy by living across the street from a little neighborhood gas station. It’s an “all egg” show as we prep for Easter.

It’s a fun show for us since Teeg, Ryan & Michelle are all from Iowa. It’s also inspiration and laughter during a time of social distancing, and we dig into Easter candy! Teeg is giddy this week about a rediscovered candy from his childhood.

Ed Kressy is an interesting guy. He’s shared his story in the Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, and as a Moth storyteller. Ed was a successful biotech guy whose live spiraled down into a drug-fueled darkness of insanity. Now he’s not only back on track, he’s dedicated his life to helping other people get theirs on track, too. It’s an uplifting show with some wild storylines.

Bryan Harding is the author of the newly minted “American Non-Sequitur,” a book of short quips that make you chortle. They’re not knee slappers, exactly, they’re funny in a quizzical, “what exactly am I reading?” kind of way. He’s our guest – and our snacks this week all have one thing in common – we see if we can figure it out as we try them all. Also, Ryan has joined the Seal Beach Police Citizen’s Academy.
