This week, Holden Bowker wraps up our series on our core values as he speaks on worship. Worship – it’s a word we frequently throw around as part of our church lingo.  But what do we actually mean by it?  And why is it so important that we designate it a core value at TAC?  This Sunday we’ll spend some time answering those questions and reflecting on some “best practices” for how we worship corporately in community.

Are they well-written statements that get framed nicely but don't actually make a difference in our day-to-day lives? Or do they really impact the decisions we make? What about our value of Mission... nice idea... looks good on paper... but why do we have it and what difference does it make for each of us?

Dwayne Toews, our Assistant District Superintendent, shares this week on how Christ is our way of peace. As Christians, we are to know this peace and pass this peace. May we be reminded of the peace that Christ brings this Christmas season and share it with all those we encounter.

Assistant District Superintendent, Lisa Rohrick, joins us this week to share on global missions and what it means to live on mission. A core value of Tsawwassen Alliance Church is “Mission: Sharing Jesus with South Delta & the world.” We will look at Jesus’ words that inspire this value, and several examples of how we are partnering to share Him in the hard and dark places of the world.

Pastor Caleb concludes our Living on Mission series with a look at Stephen's final sermon and the death of the Church's first martyr. His passion for the gospel leads him to face a council that is unkind towards this new teaching that has arisen, but Stephen pushes for them to understand that his teaching is connected to what Israel has been teaching since before Moses. It is Israel's pattern of rebellion that is the problem. Our morning will examine how Stephen presents the gospel how it is meant to be, a part of the biblical story, and how we are to respond.

This week, Pastor Brian continues our Living on Mission series as he tackles Acts 6:7-15. When God called people to serve in His Kingdom, He called people who were faithful, available, and teachable. He equips each one of us to do what He asks us to do in ministry. Character, Competency, Calling are important traits for all of us to develop in our role in ministry.

Gerry Teichrob joins us again this week to continue our Living on Mission series. How can we live impactful lives in a world that is seemingly disinterested, ambivalent, skeptical, or even hostile to the gospel of Jesus?  We can learn much from the early believers as we consider a great example of faith in this week's passage.
