Tony Gallagher says he's surprised Jim Benning is still the Canucks GM given how quickly ownership has been to get rid of GM's such as Dave Nonis and Mike Gillis in the past. Tony says the creativity the Canucks need is not available within their current management group.

TSN Ray Ferraro says there is no way the Canucks or any other team should be penalized for contracts that were signed prior to the new CBA. Ray says there should be no debate on whether or not Roberto Luongo is a Hall of Famer. Ray also weighs in on Tyler Myers and says with a longer term, no way should the Canucks or any team sign him for more than $6M.

Jamie McLennan can tell that it was a struggle for Roberto Luongo physically and mentally this past season but still believes he went out on top. Jamie says Luongo's work ethic was second to none, his mental preparation was the best he's ever seen and that he was one of the best goaltenders of all time.

Cory Schneider says when he joined the Canucks, Roberto Luongo could have shunned him and turned his back on him but instead he did the exact opposite. Cory says Luongo was encouraging and supportive and there was a healthy competition between the two of them for the net.
