July 6th 2022 will mark Grace being 2 years topical and oral steroid free!
Grace thought her skin was flaring due to going to the gym and using lots of cleaning products. This led her to discover TSW after watching a documentary on the skin condition.
First 6 months were hardest for Grace.
Used a hot water bottle when ice didn't work.
Mental battle is the hardest.
MW (moisture withdrawal) didn't work for her at all. She suggests to stay comfortable.
Used Sudocream in the beginning a lot.
Balmonds balm when skin was dry.
Every two days shower at least to keep skin clean.
Use rose hip oil, plain, no additives.
Slugging - put creams on and then vaseline on top.
What to do for mental health:
Medication for depression and anxiety.
Naturally tries to keep stress levels low. Meditating at night.
Hair follicle test - acidic foods, tomatoes, dairy
Eczema diet, cabbage soup, onions, plain potatoes
Nutritionally best one thing - milk thistle - GAME CHANGER
