I watched the recent interview between Tucker Carlson and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee with careful attention. Beneath the calm tone and sweet, unassuming delivery, Tucker Carlson framed the interview to function as a hit job, not just on Israel but on Ambassador Huckabee as well.This was not an interview designed to uncover the truth for the benefit of Americans. It was engineered to implant doubt about Israel’s moral legitimacy, about the justice of its war, about the wisdom of America’s alliance with the Jewish state, and about Huckabee's alliance to the USA over Israel. The framing did the damage, long before any answer was given.
