A small celebration was held at the Arroyo Crossing housing development site this weekend. Moab Area Community Land Trust board members cut a ceremonial ribbon to mark the completion of the project’s infrastructure, and the beginning of everything ahead – 300 units of affordable housing for locals. Developers like Community Rebuilds and the Housing Authority of Southeastern Utah will break ground early next year, bringing a long-held vision to fruition, which includes walkable trails, community spaces, and most important – housing that locals can afford.
