It’s often low-key and relaxed in downtown Moab on a winter afternoon. It can be so low-key and relaxed, that you might even notice a little music. Plus, the Department of Energy’s Office of Legacy Management is turning their focus to abandoned uranium mines on tribal land. They are studying defense-related mines used for the U.S. nuclear program. The vast majority of these mines on tribal land are on the Navajo Nation.
