If you are on a High Deductible Health Plan, and you have a Health Savings Account (HSA), then I recommend you press play! Andrew Bruns is back for his 3rd year in a row - Each year, Andrew shares what you "need to know" about HSA's. We cover updated IRS approved "eligible expenses" for 2023 as well as a rapid fire review of what you can and cannot use your HSA card for.
As mentioned in the show, Lively is an awesome platform that is free for individuals. I have had a great experience as a user the last several years.
If you have any questions about HSA's, then please reach out!
Thank you Andrew for your time and knowledge!!

"Everyone needs a therapist or a coach." Do you agree? Join today's conversation as Soumen and I jump into mental health. Then, we transition into educating you on unique things employers are doing to go above and beyond for their people. If something sounds cool, then let's talk about how we can get that implemented in your company!
Another line that stuck with me from today's conversation? "Keep yourself curious."
I've learned that leaders often don't understand they could provide so much more for their people if they simply had more healthcare strategy. It's really fun to help guide leadership teams to a better path forward. A path that frees up more money to elevate the investment they are making in their greatest asset, YOU!
Want to talk more with Soumen? Find him on LinkedIn! Soumen Bhattacharya. Did something resonate with you from today's episode? Please let me know as I love hearing from listeners! As always, shoot me a text 740-525-5259 or send me an email [email protected].
Next up: World renown author of the 5 Love Languages, Dr. Paul White!

Get ready for a journey! Dr. V has worked his way up from being a refugee to being on top of the materialistic world as a Doctor with a fancy car and a fancy house in America. Then one day he realized the fulfillment he expected, never came.
Have a listen how Dr. V provides an incredible cellular analogy that will help us understand why it is so very important to have your body firing on all cylinders. Similarly, why it's so important for companies to pay attention to every cell in the ecosystem. In other words, every person in the organization.
As mentioned in the intro, if you are interested, shoot me a message and ask for a copy of Dr. V's book, "Thrive State: Your Blueprint to Optimal Health, Longevity, and Peak Performance." I'll be giving away 5 copies to listeners!
As always, please share what resonates with you. I'm accessible via LinkedIn, email [email protected] or text 740-525-5259.

Join in for a conversation with Nick Hyndman & Josh Jordan to catch a glimpse of what it's like to go for extreme physical and mental challenges. Cerebral palsy might slow down Nick but his mindset is the real champion.
Nick overcame the odds and learned how to walk at 9 years old. Then continued on to join the wrestling team in high school. Nick reminds us "it doesn't matter what physical challenge you are facing, you can overcome it." Nick continues to defy the odds.
Josh wrestled with Nick at Perrysburg High School (Ohio) and is the muscle behind the two of them as they compete. Marathons, triathlons, even the Ironman 70.3 in Muncie, IN last year!

Why do kids see the 🌎 with a lens of endless possibilities? Why do we, as adults, not chase our dreams?
I’m thrilled to share today’s episode with Mike Delmonico as he takes us on a wild ride. Mike is simply vibrant and I’m sure you will feed off his energy. That said, it hasn’t always been that way.
This episode is centered around leadership but I was pleasantly surprised that we never once used the word leadership. In fact, I was reminded that leaders must first take care of themselves. You must fill up your proverbial cup first.
Mike Delmonico Was a bartender for 12 years in the downtown Denver area. After starting a family in 2014 he felt the pressures of parenthood and wanted more flexibility with the schedule. Tune in to understand how Mike is now to the point, eight years later, where he’s leading a team of 50 people and growing. His team culture is unlike any other in the financial industry and I will say that it’s because his desire to help people answer the two very important questions that we discussed!
Post show notes: Well what did you think? Did you find a takeaway? Tell me about it! Text at 740-525-5259 or email [email protected]

John Bongiorno is the President of WorldServe International. What fascinates me most is that John has been able to accomplish so much around the world, with his unwavering faith. John taught me that water is unifying. Both overseas and more recently, here in the United States.
Tune in as John helps us understand challenges that come with giving, the importance of treating people with dignity, and the need for local buy-in for the sustainability of a project. Facilitating partnerships with The Ohio State University Global Water Institute, Coca Cola, the Waterboys, Tanzania Water Fund and many more, David is leading the organization's mission "clean water for Africa".
Do you want to get involved and impact the lives of others? Reach out to John via email [email protected] or text Justin at 740-525-5259.

What do those three things have in common? John Cochrane. Current Athletic Director of Wartburg College, John has over 3 decades of experience in intercollegiate sports. From the first internship out of law school for the University of Iowa athletic program, to performing investigations for the NCAA, to having three kids who were NCAA student athletes, John has tremendous experience in the world of college sports.
Join us as we dive into leadership and character traits that resonate most with John. The big one is being unselfish. Think about leaders in your life that you respect… is there on that is selfish?
For me, this was a really special episode because I learned one thing an old coach (and incredible leader) did for me without ever asking for credit.
Also – if you make it to the end, then you will enjoy some surprising dialogue around Alexander the Great and the Joan of Arc.
Lastly, thank you for tuning in. Feedback (good, bad and ugly) is always welcomed! Just shoot me a text! 740-525-5259

Who needs to hear this today? When you feel like you don’t have control, what do you do? Focus on what you do have control of: your mindset, your heartset, and your handset.
What can you ask for? Can you ask your leader to listen to an idea you have to be more effective? Can you ask a friend if they will introduce you to someone you want to meet? Can you ask a colleague for help? Can you ask someone “how can I be of service for you?”
ASK ASK ASK as David says!
Want to practice your asks? If you'd like, then:
ASK me for a free copy of David's book "Connected to Goodness."
ASK me for the 5 Daily Practices that David referenced.
ASK someone for help. Whether it's for something big or small, you never know the answer until you ask.
Thank you David for your time and knowledge bombs. And big thanks to David Meltzer Enterprises for facilitating the interview.
