  • The Cellar Ep 10: The Dead Man

"Do you dare to go down into...THE CELLAR?"

Welcome to the tenth number in our continuing horror/suspense anthology series! Our stories are either original, or inspired by, or adapted from pulp fiction and classic literature, but they're guaranteed all-new productions, and no repeats from other series.

We know it's been about 10 months since our last "Cellar" episode, and we are glad to be back! Production on the series was halted due to many other projects that Pete got involved in, but he hopes to keep his eye on the ball, and his hand on the tiller, and his nose to the grindstone...and his butt in the producer's chair!

And with that being said...we proudly present "The Dead Man", adapted by our director Pete Lutz, from a pulp-fiction story by Ray Bradbury -- a young man in a small town is ridiculed by his fellow denizens because he claims he's dead. But is he? ENJOY, my friends!

  • The Aldergate Papers 0109- Holiday Special 2017 - Told After Supper (Jerome K. Jerome)

Greetings from behind enemy lines. Since last we spoke, this monstrous old house has been overrun with guests - they've stolen my privacy, and also the extensive collection of blankets and spare furniture with which I'd created my little recording nook and all-purpose snuggery. I am *not* pleased. Goodwill-towards-man is one thing, but there are limits, and this sudden crush of humanity has made it entirely impossible for me to record the next episode in the dubious saga of VC Adrian Ward, KBE, Alds, &c. Still, all is not lost. The Aldergate Papers shall carry on into the new year, just as soon as my hosts evict this festive mob and let me have my things back. In the meantime, it is my pleasure to offer a supercut of my own personal holiday favorite: "Told After Supper," a delightful compilation of Christmas Eve ghostliness by the inimitable Jerome K. Jerome. Happy holidays to one and all. Stay warm, stay safe, and I'll see you bright and early in 2018.

  • The Cellar Ep 9: The Shadows on the Screen

"Do you dare to go down into...THE CELLAR?"

Welcome to the ninth number in our continuing horror/suspense anthology series! Our stories are either original, or inspired by, or adapted from pulp fiction and classic literature, but they're guaranteed all-new productions and no repeats from other series.

We at the Narada Radio Co. hope you are all doing well during the COVID-19 situation and will continue to do so. This is a scary time, so we're doing our best to provide some scary fictitious stuff to distract you from reality. See below for info on some upcoming special productions!

And with that in mind...we proudly present "The Shadow on the Screen", adapted by our director Pete Lutz, from a pulp-fiction story by Henry Kuttner -- An up-and-coming Hollywood horror-film director wants to buck studio rules and make a true masterpiece of horror, so he seeks guidance from a shunned master of the craft -- with somewhat gruesome results! ENJOY, my friends!

  • The Aldergate Papers 0108- Frighted with False Fires

Day 3, Part 2: Frighted with False Fires - Fire in a crowded theatre - or even a sparsely-populated one for that matter - is hardly the sort of thing one likes to encourage. Especially when the theater in question is the Aldergate Playhouse, which is buried deep underground and has a distressingly mobile museum perched on top of it. At least this time it's not *my* life that's in danger. No, just my dignity. Such as it is. There's rather a lot of mustard on these pages; I'm afraid I had my lunch that day with rather more enthusiasm than technique. I plead mitigating circumstances - I was hungry to start with, and that was before an afternoon featuring ancient monoliths, deadly chandeliers, and Baz's awful yellow Reliant Robin. Still ... onwards and upwards, what? Downwards, rather.

  • The Cellar Ep 8: Skulls in the Stars

"Do you dare to go down into...THE CELLAR?"

Welcome to the eighth number in our continuing horror/suspense anthology series! Our stories are either original, or inspired by, or adapted from pulp fiction and classic literature, but they're guaranteed all-new productions, and no repeats from other series. I apologize from the bottom o' me heart for the delay in bringing you this new episode. I hope you will agree that the wait was well worth it.

I'm pleased to report that we ended up with a full dozen entries in our script-writing competition. Our judges came through with a spectacular top three, and there was a fourth that was pretty dang good, too -- so they all have won guaranteed slots in season two of The Cellar.

And now...we proudly present "Skulls in the Stars", adapted by our director Pete Lutz, from a pulp-fiction story by Robert E. Howard -- Solomon Kane wanders the swamps and moors of old England and meets up with an evil entity -- but can he defeat it before it defeats him? ENJOY, my friends!

VERY SPECIAL THANKS go to my outstanding script-doctors Robert Tinsley, Neil Jones and Craig Robotham.
