Hello my wonderful friends! 🎙🏔

Welcome to this latest episode that was formed extremely organically between Hunter + I. We didn’t have a big conversation about it — we were out taking photos + having a work meeting + she mentioned how she has always wanted to be on a podcast. I thought well, WAIT a minute! We have one, + she’s part of the team here at Tulā, so we should record one so everyone can learn more about her + so she can achieve that dream of hers!

Hunter is many things, but for lack of a better term she’s my support here, or ‘assistant’ she helps me with all things behind the scenes + works remotely on our digital spaces so we can continue to grow. I think it’s great that her and I were able to sit down + chat.

She stopped into Vancouver for a few weeks after returning from Australia, + in that time we got some in person work done together, photos, videos, + a snowy trip to Bowen to help me do some work at Nectar Yoga.

She’s since returned to her travels in Australia + I can’t wait to see her next winter when I fly in later this year.

Happy whatever you celebrate!!! + happiness to you if you don’t have any celebrations this time of year. 

I share in this episode a bit of my personal experience with the holidays, some ways I know a few of us relate to certain feelings around this time of year, + I take the time to help you to feel empowered to make choices for yourself.

I hope this time shared supports you to reduce any feelings of guilt, shame, grief. + I want you to remember that things only hold the weight that you put on them. 

Many of us do not connect with this holiday specifically, as we may feel rooted in other practices, religions, + beliefs + I think there needs to be space held for that.

I want to remind us of the pressures that are put on us or ones we put on ourselves to show up, buy things, be around people that are harmful to us. 

+ I want to make sure we’re all staying open, kindhearted, + remember those in our communities who are less fortunate, this time of year + every other day.

Here we are - another episode! 

I want to share my gratitude + respect I have for Kendra. I appreciate watching her journey + connecting with her at this stage of her journey. We met at earth daughters festival this summer + shared a few chats together. I attended both of her offerings at the festival + received so much from them, + witnessed others do the same. 

I appreciate her realness, + truth telling. I appreciate her authenticity + dedication to being herself. You don't ever sense with Kendra that she's trying to be anyone else but who she is. + I think that's beautiful + needed more + more everyday.

when we recorded this Kendra was almost 8 months pregnant - since then she’s given birth to a baby girl named Koji. Sending love, prayer, + big congratulations to her, Jeremy, + Koji.

‘I am in service to permission, + the sacred responsibility to be satiated + deeply receive. Permission to honour the body, its wisdom + innate guidance. Approving of the power we all wield as our intuitive compass, + opening to access the truth of our sovereign expression as a fully satiated + nourished being.

Bridging the gap between body + spirit, I hold space guiding people to begin listening + trusting their own wisdom from within. I lead intuitive sessions to support opening the body + clearing through what no longer serves.

More sacred excavation than “coaching session”, these experiences are a space where we get to dance with the thaw of your system as we allow it to show us what is needed. It is all within you, I simply hold, witness, + remind what you are capable of.

I hold intimate 1-1 containers, The Honouring, to allow the spaciousness for the body to return to deep trust, reorienting the relationship to self + the body from disconnect to deep loving connection.

Alongside this work, I nourish women in many capacities whether it be a private chef for intimate settings, for lively retreats, or workshops where we sit with the ceremony of food embracing the tangible mirror and element that is our God-given right to receive on a cellular, soulful, energetic, + spiritual level.

I am currently being initiated into motherhood with our healthy baby girl, Koji. Inviting a deepening in my work I couldn't have prepared for.’

So good to have you here for my first solo sesh on the pod.

This is something I've wanted to do for quite some time. I have a list of ponderings, teachings, wonderings, wisdom tidbits, + general life goodness to share + I feel blissful + intuitively encouraged to step into these sessions.

About this Episode:

This episode references addiction, loss, + death. I start to talk about the waves of grief I experience since losing my brother Trevor Ryan Tfankedjian in August 2023.

This is something that's new to me - a new learning, teaching, discovery. It's been awful + beautiful. The shadow is dark. The processing is unpleasant.

But the brighter the light the darker the shadow.

We honour my brother here in all ways - something I didn't do when he was living but I know if he got out from under his addictions + was his true self he was a kind, helpful, empathetic person. Everything I do in my business, + all travels I go on are now for him. I do everything in his name going forward.

Whitney is a passionate + highly motivated spiritual entrepreneur who leads with her heart + intuition.

she grew up in business, watching her grandfather, father, uncles, aunts, + family friends creating their own realities by working for themselves.
