People have various ways of celebrating the date of their birth. As middle aged men, we discuss how the clarity of our mortality moves to focus as the years go by.

Price is the set amount one must pay to acquire a good, or service. Value is the measured benefit of acquiring said good, or service.

In episode 034, we discuss a Jay Z verse on "Love All" from Drake's Certified Lover Boy album when he expresses his frustration with peoples inability to see larger pictures. In addition, we talk through how a value based perspective can help maximize not only what we receive, but more importantly what we contribute.

Every human starts as a child. The experiences we have in our formative years set our adult lives on trajectories that hide the paths origin. In episode 33 we share how certain adolescent encounters shifted us to a survivalist mentality, the sacrifices we had to make as a result, and ultimately how these moments helped shape the people we are today.

In episode 32, we defined death as the release of expectation. During this segment, we shared thoughts on how we handle death in both the metaphorical/physical sense. In addition, we highlight how the high expectations we place on our children can breed hypocrisy when those same standards aren't practiced by the parent.

Polarity is the state of having two opposite or contradictory tendencies, opinions, or aspects. On August 3, hip hop heads, and music fans alike were able to witness this dynamic manifested in its most glaring fashion.

We use E031 not only as an opportunity to share unique perspectives about the #verzuz between #dipset and #thelox , but to explore the ways in which such stark contrasts show up in our own lives. Regardless of our opinions on the individual participants performance, we know that they are reflections of us, therefore we extend respect for their efforts; as we do our own!

We are in constant states of transition. Relationships, attitudes, business endeavors, and so much more. We chose to share what a transition looks like for us on a day of filming. It may not be what we intended, but it doesn't mean it wasn't what it was supposed to be.

How effective are we at communicating? Given the current state of things, my estimation is not well. Episode 28 highlights some of the tactics used when engaging in verbal discourse, the value of asking questions, and ultimately how to position ourselves to be better listeners.
