It's hard to say whether this is an unnecessary remake or not, especially since I've never seen the original... And I'm sure now some purists of that first film want to do as much damage as this bar sees because of that fact. Bare with me here, I still plan on seeing the original as well. Enjoy, y'all.

Maaaaaan, Benoit Blanc gets it done, even when I doubt the actor playing him... The first film is a classic, so the bar was set very high here. The only mystery other than the obvious in the premise is why it's taken me so long to see this. Enjoy, people.

Whether you love these movies or hate them, I think the one thing that can't be denied about them overall is the fact that they're mindlessly entertaining... So that's how I go about them. It's not an amazing script or great performance I check for. It's the insanity from the games on screen. And trust me, there's lots of insane antics to go around here. Enjoy, folks.

It all has led to this... Well, kind of, because there's two more films to come after this one. But this was the film that has parts of what George A. Romero had in mind back when he made Day Of The Dead. And now, a major studio and a new budget allows him to show his ultimate vision on screen. Problem for me is that said budget and studio seem to be a big part of the problem as to why this movie is so flawed. Enjoy, folks.
