All I've ever heard about this movie is that it's the equivalent to something like John Wick, and that's almost incentive enough... Though it took me long enough to finally check this out. Another thing that drew me to this was how an everyday guy like Hutch can just snap and get on demon time the moment someone fucks with his family. I can understand that, especially when he's just trying to be cool and get by safely. All I'll say is that this movie gave me a bit more than I bargained for. Enjoy, folks.

The guy behind Sinister and Doctor Strange is back for a new film that seemingly fits the both for both said titles... Sinister was actually scary to me when I first saw it and Doctor Strange was a wild ride, so I can only imagine what combos of both elements are in this one here. I also wonder how this particular out of order phone can just keep ringing in the lair of Ethan Hawk's house. This is one of those trippy looking films that just may deliver on what it's offering, and it's going to definitely make folks look at Ethan Hawke very differently. Enjoy, people.

Well, that's one way to bring some shitty news into my evening... And the day was going so swell at first. I guess now it's time to watch Tokyo Drift through Fast 6, and then Fast 9. FINALLY!!!... Sweet Yezus, when I say that I have literally been trying to upload this commentary since last WEEK, I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I think I did this Tuesday or Wednesday evening, after recording other episodes, so this kept me up later than usual. Finally had a chance to get back into this series yesterday and every time I do, it reminds me why I got immediately invested in the first place... This always has the perfect balance of black excellence and foolishness each time around. Enjoy, people.

Being as though this movie was recommended by a few people over the course of a few days, I felt obligated to give it a fair spin... Concept wise, I thought of movies like Stay Alive, BrainScan, and Arcade. Execution wise, this wasn't what I expected it to be. I still went in blind though, especially since it's hard to turn down new horror recommendations. Enjoy, folks.

And to think I almost got rid of this episode I recorded yesterday... I couldn't deny this film if I tried, even if lots of it seems so dated. As cheesy as it may be, this was a cult classic that scared the hell out of me in more ways than one as a kid. All the more reason for me to consistently talk about a sequel or remake during, so bare with me here. I just think both the fans and The Chiodo Brothers deserve it at this point.
