So in preparation for my Resident Evil commentary (hopefully the day allows me to), I needed something to not only pass time but to entertain me nonetheless... This fit the bill more than well. Tim Burton is a creative that I admire and am inspired by as far as original ideas. He also has these strange and dark undertones that surpass even it's adult viewers at first. But the more I go back on movies like this, the more I notice and enjoy even further. So Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice, an ensemble cast, an amazing score, and wacky comedy overall was more than enough company for me today. Enjoy, people.

I had been told about this movie prior to watching it last night and let me tell you guys something, I was in for a long awaited viewing. I wasn't worried about the time it was films nor the time period it took place in, but more so if I was going to be invested in such a young powerhouse cast. I will say one thing... Francis Ford Coppola knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to casting. This is a coming of age/youth tale for certain. Enjoy, y'all.

Zombies + Zack Snyder = You had me at both... As if people didn't already know this about me by now. Two factors that, since 2004's Dawn Of The Dead remake, probably always belonged together. Justice League is one thing, but this guy taking the helm and bringing me more of the undead is just pure gold at the end of the day. So an undead heist film set in Las Vegas definitely sounds more than interesting. Enjoy, people.

I've seen disturbing movies before... And I've seen this. This is a different level of fuckery, I'm telling y'all. As a horror buff/gorehound/you-name-it, I've survived some of the most insane film experiences of my time. This one I survived as well, but the experience was enough to scar me for life. Enjoy, folks.

This is clearly another result of me not knowing what to watch and record to... But I'm glad I chose this gem. Before Hustlers, before P-Valley and all that, there was this. And it still stands the test of time for me. Imagine how Any Given Sunday or Blue Chips capture both life on and off the field/court... This is the one that captures all on and off the pole. And it sails by with flying colors. Enjoy, people.
