January 27, 2021The Suicide Squad/Mortal Kombat Teaser Trailer Reaction/Thoughts (HBO Max)I went into this thinking it was footage strictly for these two films, but I quickly noticed I got more than I bargained for... That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. Especially since HBO Max is doing us movie buffs a solid favor by streaming these flicks. Enjoy, folks....more29minPlay
January 26, 2021More Fast 9 Theories... Because Something Isn't RightOf course I'm still going insane thinking about both the possibilities of Fast 9 and how epic it's going to be... But since they're being stingy with an actual official second trailer, I've been stuck in my head conjuring up fan theories faster than Dom heads for cliffs with no backup plan. Since Vin Diesel calls these films trilogies, I think a LOT of Fast 9 will tie heavily into Furious 7 in particular. That's just the tip of the iceberg, though. Enjoy, people....more54minPlay
January 25, 2021History Of Versus Films: What We Got, Didn't Want, And DeserveA single character's journey on screen is one thing... It takes a lot for one character to put the entire weight of a film on his/her shoulders throughout, so I admire that. But two have TWO characters clash, collide, coincide with one another in one film can be epic. If it's done properly. For decades, there's been characters running into or through each other... From Frankenstein to Freddy. Whether they're memorable occurrences are another story. What I did here was backtrack a bit from the Godzilla Vs Kong hype, and go back to the OG templates that paved the way for titular characters to even coexist on screen. Enjoy, y'all....more1h 27minPlay
January 24, 2021Godzilla Vs Kong Trailer Reaction/Thoughts(HUGE MISTAKE HERE... I kept saying the director of this was Michael Dougherty, and it is in fact Adam Wingard. My apologies, listeners.) Sweet. Baby. Jesus... It's here. Enjoy, people....more25minPlay
January 21, 2021The Walking Dead Extended Season 10 Trailer Reaction/ThoughtsThis last portion of the season cannot come fast enough, man. Enjoy, folks....more18minPlay
January 21, 2021Bug Flicks That Made Me ItchNope!... I can not, under any circumstances, deal with insects, arachnids, whatever the hell you want to classify those buggers as. It was all good when I used to study them in school and think they were harmless as a kid. But my savvy got better, and I was wise enough to know they are not to be fucked with. So I made a short list of flicks that always stuck with me as far as the creepy crawlers are concerned. Enjoy, people....more1hPlay
January 21, 2021Hereditary Commentary (First Time Watch)Even seeing a few clips prior to this, this is still a first timer for me... And I didn't expect that. Some things just catch me off guard. That is all. Enjoy, y'all....more2h 13minPlay
January 19, 2021Terminator 2: Judgment Day Commentary With Omar & Rob BassAnybody not wearing a 2 million sun block won't survive this commentary... I hope y'all understood that reference, because they come in spades with this episode in particular. We had a ball putting this one down and since we all grew up with this classic, we goofed off and paid our respects as well. Enjoy, people....more2h 27minPlay
January 15, 2021Mortal Kombat 2021 First Look Reactions/ThoughtsIt's a Happy Friday indeed!... That is all I have to say. I've been longing for a trailer, but they gave me pics from the film instead and I am in NO WAY complaining. Enjoy, y'all....more33minPlay
January 14, 2021Rappers Turned Actors: When It Does And Doesn't Work (Happy 53rd Birthday, LL Cool J)As someone who was heavily into writing Hip Hop music way back when, I can appreciate when one would decide to want to branch off and do something different... Maybe some acting per say. There's times when we as an audience see an artist transition right before our eyes on screen and become a whole presence in a single role. Then there's other times when we'd wish they'd just stick to writing rhymes on the pad. No offense to those folks, but this transition is a fine line, and it's very hit or miss. So let's just see how often it does either or. Enjoy, people....more1h 18minPlay
